Vendors wanted for Blackwell Cinco de Mayo Event
March 25, 2026
Plans are underway for Blackwell Tourism’s fourth annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, set to take place Saturday, May 2, at the Blackwell Fairgrounds.
The event will be held inside the Ag Building from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature food, entertainment and activities for the community.
According to Tourism Director Sherry Buellesfeld, organizers are currently seeking food and craft vendors to participate. Space will be available both inside the building and outdoors for food trucks and trailers. Vendor applications can be obtained by emailing tourism@blackwellchamber.org
or by stopping by the Blackwell Chamber of Commerce office, located at 120 S. Main St., between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. A $25 non-refundable vendor fee is required.
Entertainment for the evening will be provided by DJ Teo Arellano of Oklahoma City, who will bring a special light show, along with games and contests throughout the night. A photo booth will also be available, allowing attendees to download their pictures for free with a customized overlay.
The annual celebration continues to serve as a community gathering highlighting culture, food and entertainment in Blackwell.
A healthy Kay County requires great community news.
